Kevin O'Connor did not hold back in his critique of the NBA All-Star Weekend, particularly the new Sunday night game format. He questioned why TNT made the night more about themselves than the players, and wondered how Commissioner Adam Silver allowed an All-Star Weekend in San Francisco without Steph Curry in the 3-point contest. Kevin also expressed his lack of excitement for a "G-Leaguer" who "only uses props" in the Slam Dunk contest. Despite his admiration for LeBron James, Kevin did not hesitate to place some blame on him for pulling out of the All-Star Game last-minute. In Kevin and Dan Titus's eyes, everything about All-Star Weekend was a mess. The guys also dissected some bizarre sound bites from Draymond Green, including his assertion that he and Jimmy Butler both possess "alpha" personalities. Draymond also boldly predicted that the Warriors will win the title this season, and supposedly turned down the Warriors' Head Coaching position for the future once Steve Kerr retires. Overall, Kevin O'Connor and Dan Titus were unimpressed with the current state of the NBA All-Star Weekend and had plenty to say about the various strange occurrences and comments surrounding the event.
