Ravichandran Ashwin has announced his retirement from international cricket in the middle of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series. The Indian cricketer made the announcement in a press conference following the Gaba Test. Ashwin has been a key player for Team India in Test cricket for many years, making significant contributions both with the ball as a spinner and with the bat on numerous occasions.
