Arsenal stumble in Premier League title race with 1-0 defeat to Newcastle, Alexander Isak scores winning goal

Isak's spectacular goal put the Magpies in the lead at St. James' Park in the early kick-off on Saturday, leaving the Gunners struggling to keep up.

Arsenal were buoyed by the return of William Saliba from suspension and Gabriel Magalhaes from injury but failed to find an equaliser, leaving them possibly eight points behind Man City after the weekend fixtures.

Newcastle have been surprisingly flat for much of the season but produced an impressive and resilient display to climb into the top-half of the table.
